I am going to miss Ellie & Jeff. Ellie and I share the same alma mater (Hoo Hoo Hoo), so I felt right at home overseeing the wedding photography for these two. A shout out to Jalapeno Photography for capturing this day while I was on maternity leave. Super fun, easygoing couple who I began to work with in 2014 at their engagement session at the Montgomery County Agricultural History Farm Park. Naturally it would be an outdoor affair on a sunny spring day in May, at dusk, on the grounds of Woodlawn Manor. The horses were out to pasture and the azaleas were fully popped, making for a deserved and delightful day. Wishing you two the very best always, and oh, Jeff, Go IU.
Tracey & Henry are wedded! And I was so honored to be part of it all. My many warm thanks to Jalapeno Photography for capturing this day for me to post-process while on maternity leave. I knew following their fabulous engagement session done at the National Arboretum last spring, that this couple would bring forward some beautiful stuff that any photographer would love. The lavender, gold, dogwood, golf carts and succulent were divine, and I got my needed dose of black & white with the US Navy and their awesome Navy arch ceremony in crisp white uniforms. This beautiful spring wedding at the Westfields Golf Club in Clifton, VA was nothing short of a reminder of why I *love* shooting weddings. The light, the color, the love, all the makins’ for some downright splendid photography and photo finishin.’ Congratulations T&H!
I’ve never considered baby photography as a specialty. After being at home during the days with this new member of our family inevitably she ended up in front of the lens. Here are just a few favorites that have kept the creative juices flowing while becoming a mama. Babies can appear so different from even the slightest shift in angle. But I assure you, this is all the same babycake.
